As a sports photographer for The Temple News, I was assigned to take pictures at the first football game of the season. Temple is taking on Villanova in the inaugural Mayor's Cup. I live in Cherry Hill, NJ, and this is where my story begins.

As I drive over the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, I can see a great view of the Philadelphia Skyline. I can tell that I will be arriving at my destination very shortly.

I have finally arrived at my destination. Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles and our very own Temple Owls. I put on my press pass and head over to the media entrance. The entrance takes me to the press box. After grabbing a quick snack that was provided for me, I head down to the field for the game.

When I get to the field, I search for the best possible spot to stand so that I can capture all of the action. Watching a football game from the stands is great, but being on the sideline is even better,

After getting all the shots I need, I head home and upload my photos to my laptop. I spend about an hour going through all of the photos and picking out the best ones and editing them.

Finally, the final copy that I am ready to send in to the photo editor.

With one final click I send the e-mail and my assignment is done.
